MC-ing!!

I got a call from Fauzan, the head of Intellectual Convention (IC) ConvoFair2010 on Saturday morning (2.46am) asking me whether I would be able to be MC for the event on Sunday, 3rd October...

With a little hesitation, I agreed upon his request as he mentioned that there are no other ppl willing to be the MC and couldn't find any MC in such short time.. Well, since I had always like to try out to be an MC, I finally agreed to it!!

I went through a whole day of rehearsal starting from 9am till 12am midnite....After a one long day of rehearsal, I thought of resting early to be fully prepared for my MCing the following morning however sudden tasks just pop up...Since I am in the HRM dept of ConvoFair, I need to seek for urgent manpower backup for Sunday....

Well I called up almost every committee in the database list, used up till almost 10 bucks calling till 2am in the morning and managed to only get 2 extra manpower....

End up sleeping around 2 something and waking up at 7am the next morning!! Fuhhh tiring!!

Went undercroft sharp at 8am and start preparing for MCing.....Hmm my first time being a formal MC is kinda bad i guess as there are many stumbles here and there with many forgotten lines and mistakes every now and then =p

Well for a first timer, i would say, it was kinda bad =p

However, i felt relieved and happy once everything came to an end...It was indeed a very tiring weekend for me,....I do not have much time to rest at all and there are tonnes of projects and assignments piling up ahead of me......hmm alright i better starting working on a few =p

In a nutshell, MC-ing is not so bad after all~~ =)

TIME FLIES

TICK TOCK...TICK TOCK....TICK TOCK....

As I sat on my study table thinking of how to start my project paper, my mind wonders far away....Wonders from one issue to another...

Wondering whether am I making the right choice??
Wondering whether is it worth it????
Wondering whether I will be able to cope up???
Wondering whether I will always be this lucky everytime???
Wondering whether I am strong and capable enough to hold on till the end???
Wondering whether I will faint one day???
Wondering whether I will breakdown into tears one day??

And as I wonder......I suddenly felt the "second needle" ticking on my watch getting louder and louder and as it gets louder, it is getting faster and faster....Somehow i felt that the time accelerated double the usual speed!! AND my heart is racing at the speed of light as well!!

I felt im so left behind, so abandoned....
by time, by work, by studies, by events, by friends, by relationship....

Then I start feeling....
Whether I will be able to catch up with all those.....
Whether I will be able to excel in everything I do...
Whether I will have enough time for each tasks....

My mind just wont stop wondering and wonders around aimlessly....When there are too much to wonder, you just don't know how or where to focus on already!! You just feel like ignoring everything and act as though nothing ever matters.... You just feel like sleeping all day, not thinking about anything and put all the worries aside....

If I were give one minute, just one minute......Not having to think about all those.... It would already be more than enough for me!!!

And as I typed this, another 20minutes gone....Time Flies like nobody's business!!
You got to be alert and quick to catch up with it or it will be vanished from your sight in a blink of an eye!!

Cherish every second you have!!
Treasure every moment!! =)
Think about your loved ones!! They will always be there for you!!
Thanks to all those who has always been by my side through my hard times....
With your love and support, it is the main source of my determination to hold on and be strong!!

Great Hiking Experience

On the 21st of December 2009, I went hiking with a bunch of friends at Bukit Melawati/Bukit Tabur. My sister asked me one day whether I would like to go hiking. Then I gave it a thought and think that it is not such a bad idea to occupy my long term sem break with such adventurous sport. Furthermore I love adventurous activities, hence I thought, why not give it a try??

Well, I started asking a few of my friends and they agreed to come along. I got so excited and I was looking forward to this. We changed the hiking date quite a number of times to cope up with everyone's tight schedule. The ones involved were:

1. Mong
2. Tammy jie jie
3. Mellissa
4. DG
5. Ah Wen
6. Wei Di
7. ME

Actually before asking them and getting them to agree on this trip, I was a little not so confident on getting them to come as not all are from KL except me and sis. But, they were all very sporting and are willing to come along with me on this trip and I bet they did not regret on this too as it was really a LIFE YEARNING EXPERIENCE!!

Firstly, we got up as early as 5.00am in the morning to get prepared for everything and departed home (cheryl's hse) at 6.30am..

We drove to 7-11 and get some necessary items and go on with our journey towards bukit melawati. I am the driver of course!! *proud to be one* =p

We reached the foothill and parked somewhere at the cornering of the road. Initially we wanted to park nearer to the entrance, but a tree branch fell off and blocked 3/4 of the road. Only a kancil can passby. Therefore we need to walk up further to reach the entrance. Well is ok..take it as warming up before climbing the hill =)

Then our journey up the hill began.. It is about a 45minute - 1 hour walk up the hill.

Hmm we havent even start climbing any hills yet, and it was so tiring already..so we took our first break before starting the adventurous part climbing up the hill.

After munching on a few pieces of chocolate, we were ready to continue our jouney.

UP, UP, UP we went!!

And here we were at our first peak! =)

So happy to be at the peak, thinking that we were close to finishing already, but little did we knew that there were actually many other peaks more to go... fuhh.... Well...no worries GOGOGO!! the spirit is still high up withing ourselves~~

We were actually climbing a hill which separates the city and the jungle. Therefore we were in the middle =) How to be in the city and the jungle at the same time? check this out!!

We experienced such beautiful sceneries and many marvelous and breathtaking views along the hike. It was almost unbelievable that we were up there seeing all those =) I just can't believe my eyes

The most challenging part of the hike!! We got to use the help of the rope to get down.. Is like abseiling =)

The 2nd most challenging part of the hike =) Have to hug the big rock up there which shaped like a cone to get over. Fuh..really not a very good suggestion for acrophobics =p

I am on the top of the world!!! =) woohooo

Lying on the cliff...once turn our body or accidentally shift a little, then is bye bye...down we go rolling......

This should be the highest peak of all as there are soft moss all over the ground.

It felt so like in avatar and you will never feel as though that this is actually KL. The soft and slightly moist/cooling moss was soo comfortable after a long and rough hike up the hill..It was so comforting sitting on it just like sitting on the best quality carpet one can ever get =p

Coming down the mountain was more to jungle trekking. It was not so much fun as going up which is the opposite of what I thought so at first.

FINALLY!! here we are at the end of the hill...We DID IT!! we successfully hike the mountain in like almost 5hours =p haha

YES....this is the hill we conquered...Yup we went from peak to peak and down we came =)

Overall, our hike was actually 1/4 brisk walking up the hill, 1/4 rock climbing, 1/4 abseiling, 1/4 jungle trekking =p

Dun play play, we uni students can do more than just studying!! =)

It was really a fun and memorable hike!! Through this trip, I even had a closer bond with my uni mates as we gone through hardship, tough times and laughter together =) I really did the right thing by inviting them along as I really had a WONDERFUL time!! ^^ I hope they too had as much fun as me =D

After a long and tired hike, we went and celebrate our victory by treating ourselves a scrumptious seafood meal with cooling coconut water at Air Panas ^^

And that is all on our hike!! =) TQ for all those who were present on that day and thanks for making my day =) Love you all lotzz!!!

Im back to KL...finally after struggling for 2months in UTP with events, test, assignments and exams...

Now im finally free!! =)

Can eat all i want, can sleep all i want and can play all i want ^^

Lots have changed...My lil sis has transformed from a little baby to a young adult....aww how i miss the cute little sister last time =p haha

Well not to say that she is not cute now..just that i kinda miss hugging the tiny little body i used to hug...Now she is almost my size..huhu

Plus the giant pink seahorse she got from genting!! =.="" It snatched my space on bed last night T.T

Bday celebration!!

Wah seems like it has been ages since i last updated my blog. I think i even forgot of its existense =p hehe

Hmm now that im back in KL for my mid sem BREAK...i will have time to blog again =p

Well, I just wanna express my feelings for my bday celebration this year...

I really had a real lot of fun this year...

It was really the best bday so far...

I celebrated like 3 times bday in UTP this year =p

My first bday celebration was on the 6th Sept 09 where as usual, im having my weekly Talent search Hicom meeting on every Sunday night...

The meeting that night was surprisingly long... I think we spent bout 3 hours in the meeting room.

(To cut the story short)
During the meeting, Johnny(PD, Talent Search 09') suddenly dashed out of the room for no reason...All of us looked at each other clueless on what was he trying to do...So we just go on with the meeting without him...Then few minutes later, he came in with a cake in his hand, with all the candles lit...

Everyone gazed at him wondering whose bday cake was it and i was also clueless. I skimmed through every faces around the table to refresh myself on whose bday is it that day...But then i can't recall of anyone's bday on that day or close to that..

I then wondered to myself...hmm how come the meeting is not on thurs(10 sept) then there will be a bday celebration for me too...

However nvr have i expected it to be, the bday cake is actually for me...

I was like so totally shocked, happy and TOUCHED to hear that...the PD actually do know when is my bday and even take the effort to celebrate it for me...

I almost cried in joy however i pulled back my tears and resisted it from rolling down my cheeks..*hehe*

Then we resume over meeting again...how random =p

8th Sept

There were another birthday celebration for me on the 8th Sept...

I rmb it was just after SP test and my friends suggested to celebrate for our hardwork in Kg Bali and also as an early Bday celebration for me..Actually I was kinda sleepy and lazy, but i still agreed to it since they wanted to celebrate for me...*so thoughtful of them*

So off we went to Kg Bali...

Reached there, ordered food and we chat a little.. I was actually wondering only 8 of us there...soo quiet and lonely...So i did asked Mei Foong whether they guys are coming or not...and she go on lying to me that they were all very lazy.....this and that

then she saw a big cat under a chair, and i also got attracted by it as it is really VERY HUGE....when my attention is onto the cat, suddenly there is a group of other friends at the back of me wishing me Happy Birthday with a cake in his hand...I was really startled by that....
So the whole China gang actually celebrated bday for me =p

The cake was really nice..It is purple colour..(Thx Wei Di for choosing that...really unique)

However is not fnshed as we ate quite a lot and couldn't fit the cake in..So we gave to the nx table and there were some of the talent search committee with my PD there as well...They sang another bday song for me again...

Anyway she gave me the biggest bday gift of all...=p hehe she bake cheese cake for me, boiled soup, gave me a crystal bracelet, spaghetti stripe, a smiley bday card and a wonderful letter...

She really written a touchy letter that made my eyes watery....hmm really grateful and lucky to have her as my bestfren...Nvr have thought that she would prepare so much for me on my bday =p TQ ah ci...thx alot...

External Hard disk

Yday went to low yat and just got myself an External Hard Disk...fuh...so totally broke ady now...

I bought a 500GB hard disk for RM320...soooo Expensive... =(

I thought I did compare prices and found the cheapest 1 already but hu knows after walking for a while i saw another 1 which is 1TB just for RM355 T.T

hmm...shudn't hv made my decision so fast... =p

but well, think on the brighter side, at least i am not super broke coz if i buy the 1TB, i might not eat for 1 month.. =p

I'm back home after attending 2 weeks lectures...
seems like the common influenza is invading UTP and i got chased home too =p

I am home quarantined by mom...can't go out anywhere...
i was happy at first coz the thought of being able to come back to KL makes me think that i can also go for this time PC Fair...

However...my hope shattered into pieces as my mom dun allow me to go out of house...woowoo T.T

no more PC fair...seems like staying in UTP and at home makes no difference...still kenot go out...=(

Ice Skating!!!

I have always love ice skating…whenever there is an outing, i will always suggest for sunway pyramid so that i can ice skate…

There is this 1 day during the sem break, i really am very excited to go ice skate…however, when i reached that place and step onto the ice, i noticed i suddenly don’t hv the mood to ice skate…

nevertheless i still went on as my fren was with me..and i dun wanna disappoint him seeing how excited was he trying to learn how to ice skate…

Just a few rounds in the ice rink, i suddenly noticed a very familiar face…very very familiar…then ahha!! is JEAN!!! my secondary school senior…however she is my mei mei(little sis) =p boy, u couldn’t imagine how happy i was to meet her..is like…my mood suddenly brightened up….

She is having her break too and we go on chatting for quite some time and managed to snap a couple of pics…really miss her lotz..and i even met her friend Michelle…a very nice girl as well…nice talking to.. =)

Lonely Saturday

It’s my first saturday here in UTP after the sem starts…
Nobody here…soo lonely..roommate went back, most of my friends went back home…

planned to skip lunch today but seems like i am munching food more if i skip my lunch….have been biting on biscuits, “kuih bahulu”, ect…

i even boiled 2 eggs and eat…coz have so many eggs left, scared spoilt…so boiled and eat…so my lunch is basically a bunch of biscuits + eggs + horlicks… huhu soo pathetic…

have been trying to read on MOB but then always jump off to something else after reading a few sentences…so not productive at all…

counting down towards dinner….argh…stop thinking of food cheryl…you are putting on too much weight!!!

btw, 1 of my UTP friend, wei di is sicked…cannot attend class for 1 week…ppl pray for him yea ^^ =)

Valentine's day

I had a very memorable but also tiring valentine's day...

Hahaha my valentine is not like others who goes out with their boy/girlfren but mine is much more special!!i went out with my loved ones oso but then is not my boyfren or anything...is my UTP Family =)a very very close 1...=)

Really lucky that i get to spend my valentine's with them =)

So sad...we spent our valentine together eating egg and ice cream (sarcastically) haha

we went ipoh parade for karaoke and as usual, mel was the driver ;)

then we sang like crazy ppl..hahaha i really like singing like that...i really do hope to go again next time but with all of them...the ones present that day were oni mel, pey si, mei foong, CK and me...

Owh yea...btw CK has a really nice voice!!SUPER DUPER nice...i didn't noe he can sing that well...he doesn't look like that he can sing..hahaha really unexpected...
that taught me a lesson: never judge a book by its cover =p

Teluk Intan and Pulau Pangkor trip

On the 8th and 9th of February, went Teluk Intan and Pulau Pangkor with my UTP friends(family) but then pey si went back penang so couldn't join us...

Alright among the ones attended are: Foong, Mel, Daphnee,Hallie, Shu Wei, Siew Kwan, Andy, General, Jian ren and ME!!!

First of all i would like to express my greatest gratitude to Ming Han for being the organizer of this trip...it is really nice of her to come up with this...and she,mel and shu wei went through all the trouble just to rent a car..

Next, i would like to introduce the driver of the day which is MEL...well really felt sorry for making her the driver for the whole trip since she is the oni 1 who noes how to handle mei foong mother's car...But then i think she will not mind oso since she loves driving so much...TQ Mel for being soo soo patient driving throughout the trip...=) love yea dear...xoxo

and also special thanks to Mei Foong who asked her mom to lend us her car...it is really a big help for us since we do not have enough transport for all of us to go on with the trip...love u too mama...xoxo

Not forgetting Siew Kwan hu is kind enough to invite us to her house and get a really really huge gift from her mom!1=)*winks*all those food she prepared for us were really delicious...Siew Kwan...help us to thank ur mom yea on our behalf =p

To Daphnee hu had been so protective over mama and always defending her from the jian ren...A great applause for our papa too for being so brave, brave enough to sit the banana boat...u really showed great courage there...

Lastly to baby shu wei who are always so cheerful and spice up the occasion every now and then...really glad that u were there...

Owh yea...almost forgot about the guys...Thanks also to the guys who help pay for the car rental...but then 1 thing i must mention about the guys...owh pls do be more responsible next time...make sure u really really plan nicely before going for any vacation or trips wth group...and don't always neglect small matters ok??because small matters also leads to something really important...

I really really had a great time at Pulau Pangkor and Teluk Intan last weekend..hopefully there are much more vacations like this to come...im looking forward to it...=) really love spending time with my UTP family...

The Amazing view on the first day of CNY

On the first day of CNY, there was this very beautiful sight up in the sky...and eclipse has occured and it was super beautiful...i was lucky to have seen it because the eclipse time is only from 4.30pm to 5.30pm...the time i looked up into the sky is approximately 5.20pm....10 more minutes before it ends...so i oni manage to snap half of the aurora...the pics i snapped is not really nice though since i used my Hp camera which is not really good oni...But still can see the rough picture of it =)

wanted to call all my beloved frens to watch also, but then as i said, when i noticed it, it was already 10 minutes before it is going to end...so i dun have enough time to inform all also...furthermore i got amazed by the beauty of it so my head stayed that position(looking up into the sky) for quite some time...and i was busy snapping a nice angle of that aurora too....soo sorry frens =p

I'm Back in UTP

CNY Hols ended and i am finally back in UTP!!
i arrived on friday morning(2am)
fnsh unpacking everything and it was close to 3am ady..
wash up and change into my pyjamas then throw myself on the bed and slept off right away because i was super tired...
around 5 something, my hp rang, i picked up and it was my mom calling
She got worried about my brother coz he still has not arrive home that time..
So i told my mom that he napped awhile here in UTP before continuing his journey home...
My mom hang up, and few minutes later she called again telling me that my bro is about to reach home ady...so i was like ok(answering half asleep)
At 6.45am, my alarm clock rang and my hand just reach out for my hp and automatically off it...
Around 8.30am i woke up again voluntarily!!Then i was like OH NO!!!!!
I am late for class...i am suppose to attend maths class at 8am and now is already 8.30am....
What should I do?What should I do????
Since it is an hour lecture oni, i decided not to go...since i am sooo sooo late oso already!!
Then i slept back and woke up again around 10 something
Cook myself something to eat and I felt proud of myself coz i manage to cook the rice even without the steel for steaming and rice cooker....i just steam it in my induction cooker pot by placing the bowl of rice on the fork and spoon which i immersed into the water so that it can replace the steamer function....

Happy Chinese New Year

Went back Taiping on the 26th Jan to celebrate CNY with family...I am back once again to the kampung house which i feel is very unique....i always have this nostalgic feeling once i stepped into the kampung house...every part and corner of the house brought back a memorable moment i had last time with my cousins and sisters to me =) My favourite part of the house is the well which i am always proud of....not many ppl's house actually have a well but this kampung house has it...but then till now, im still afraid of looking into the well for i always have this fear that i will fall in...Although it is my favourite part of the house, but somehow i will nvr dare to go near it...

This CNY, i felt quite boring somehow....There is no CNY mood in me at all..well maybe because i am sick, and i just slept the whole day...I was forbidden to eat many things and i am quite sad about it...However, i did took some cookies though....well i just can't resist the temptation with so many cookies displayed on the table =p

27/12/08 (Afternoon)- Went bowling at timesquare...before that hang around Sg wang, pavilion

Rocky bowling...haha always kenot aim properly de.. =p

Low bowling...at least this 1 looked more expert and played better also

Low's brother...although didn't look so expert but he is the winner for the day!!=) CONGRATZZ!!

27/12/08 (evening)- went JY's hse for xmas party at tmn tasik indah i guess...if im not mistaken

JY's house is really big and nice...i like it there =) and the food prepared were really wonderful...They were really good cooks...

And yea...we finally get to drink the unopened wine brought to Low's hse the other day....Hehe..the cork is pushed into the bottle and left floating in the wine...that's the oni way they can open it i guess after we tried screwing the cork the other day but failed...

The wine was really good..soo tasty..i got all high just by a few sips of it =p hehe
And i love the japanese wine he gave us to try too....somehow it is rather different...this wine is sweet and im loving it...

Then we went up to his PS room to hang around inside and that's where Rocky bullied me nonstop...i must report this to someone...but hu am i suppose to report it too?haha nvm....i forgive him...he is just too ho-hum i guess..nothing else better to do so come disturb me when i was high!!

Owh yea and i found this really cute hamtaro JY bought back from Japan...but he said it was not a hamtaro...however it really does look like a hamtaro...well watever la...the cuteness is already very good enough..

Christmas BBQ Party at Low's house

On xmas eve, Low organized a BBQ party at his house which was a really really last minute one...
He came and picked me up with mic and yip already in the car...they went shopping before picking me up...

I oni had approximately 1 hour to prepare but then they took longer time to reach my house, so i actually had more time to hang aroung at home...But im all prepared at that time...just waiting....

Then low's mom came driving the car and picked me up...and off we went to low's house which is at tmn melawati...that place was really confusing...pusing pusing awhile then i got lost liao...dunno where was i already..=p Hmm let's just say that im road blind

We have limited food to BBQ oni cause they dun have much time to buy more and it is like not well planned...just last minute...soo all we had was just sausages and hams...But all that was also good enough already...because it is not really important...most important is that we all gathered around and have chats on our childhood time....Too bad not all was here..

Thought of going ice skating with mel and martha on the 17th of dec but then again, our mission failed...it is too late already and is not worth it as the hours we can play were limited...furthermore, the ticket price can cut throat!!!!soo super expensive especially during public and school holiday!!

Spring cleaning!!!

Yday had spring cleaning at home...
was clearing the store outside of the house...
SOOO SUPER tiring....so many things to dump and so many things to unpacked and repacked again...

Dunno which is useful and which is not also...
So i am basically just dumping everything....
muahahahaha

and i dunno made how may trip to the garbage house already!!
Well while clearing, there are many scary creatures crawled out...
Me and my little sis were shouting all the time...Each time we saw a creature running out, we will scream our lungs out...i think the whole of Medan Intan residents also knew we were doing cleaning that day!!haha

hmm here are some of the creepy creatures that crawled out.....

Rats....i hate it..soo dirty and stinky...Ewww, i even saw 1 as big as a little kitten...maybe bigger than that too...

The creepiest creature on earth...But i stepped on quite a number...haha killing coackroaches...Defeating my biggest enemy.. *ahem, han, i can kill coackroaches too u noe*
and the creature i fear most and it is always in my room in UTP is.....

Argh....i HATE it....my hair all stood up high when i see any....

Owh yea...i bet nobody is gonna come visit my blog anymore with all these creepy creatures here..haha

My Belated Birthday celebration

Well my bday is actually on the 10th of september but im only posting this now because i do not hv time before this...

I had a surprise bday celebration from my old skul mate, han...hmm a nice 1..got touched by it too

First of all we went to the waterfall in Ulu Yam
He came and picked me up, and off we went...

Although i really love playing with water and water is like my 2nd home, but he really chose the wrong timing....i just only straightened my hair...and i can't wet it...so didn't really play to the max at the waterfall...but then is already enough thoughtful of him to bring me there =) so thanx yea =p

After that, went to Ampang point for bowling...Owh yea...and i sucks in it....So terrible...dunno how to play...hmm at least i tried to aim

Well dunno why i felt really tired that day...Next he took me to the Look Out Point where he really gave me a surprise there...nvr thought that he will prepare such a thing...Till now im still wondering...

"Where and how on earth did he bring up a cake which is still cold??" hmm...i wonder..

Get to watch sunset too...So nice!!! first time i watch sunset from up up high!!

Yday went malacca for ting ting jie jie's and lee chuan koko's wedding and it was a GREAT FUN day!!haha fun taking pictures i guess..

Well not only that of course, the happiest thing is being able to gather around with all my beloved relatives and have a whole lot of fun, chit chatting all the way...=)

First of all, in the morn we went to King's apartment where the tricks were played on the bridegroom...too bad i came late..so din manage to snap any pics =(

then makan makan after that suppose to go to the groom's house, but then...erm....pai seh to say, i din go actually...

Went shopping at pahlawan instead which i thought is Mahkota Parade before this..Cause Yong Bao much trouble finding for me in Mahkota Parade when im in Pahlawan...told him the wrong location and make him search for me at the wrong place...pity Yong Bao..felt so guilty!! (SORRY YONG BAO) somemore his hp no batt..so kenot contact him oso...haih..nvm la...nx time k??

KLCC Outing

Yday went KLCC with some of my UTP friends...
me, Kian and Kiu Ling
Suppose to guide them around, but as most of u noe, i am really bad in directions...SO PAISEH ar...

Went n visit outside of Aquaria, duwan go inside coz too expensive ady...and then wanted to visit the Skybridge, but then how unlucky of us, the tickets finished already for the day....

So we just hang around KLCC, look around, walk around, sit around....

nothing much to do in KLCC....just have the xmas feel when im in KLCC coz they hv already put up all the decorations and all...

Gua Tempurung

Yday i had a very exciting trip with my friends to the Tempurung Cave..there were 8 of us who went there : me, daphnee, mei foong, mel, siew kwan,mark, alex, and Lolo

Mel drove all the way to Gua Tempurung and we reached there around 10++ bought tix for the Top of the World & Short River Adventure package which costs RM11..

Suppose to bring torch light along, but then mine and mel's torch light were dumped in the bag and were brought back to our house respectively already...that's y no torch light to use so have to buy from there...and they sell it super expensive

1 torch = RM 12

we bought 2 so is RM 24 (Mark, LoLo and alex u guys owe me RM3 each)

that's really cut throat...the torch light is not even that bright...really wasting money

Anyway that's before entering the cave...Now let the story begin...

Firstly we entered the cave and walked up dunno how many thousand staircase
Long long way up!!!Phew...tiring(long time no exercise)

then look around and saw all those natural formations on the wall...got all kinds of funny funny looking shapes

It is batman eyes according to the tour guide..But no matter in whichever angle i see, it doesn't look like batman eyes at all...

after all those tiring climbing, we finally came to this scary sliding marble which was the part daphnee really really scared...She is afraid of height..so dare not get down...Kinda steep but is fun though

took quite some time there coz not many ppl dare to slide down...

after that part, we need to enter this tiny little hole to go underground and walk in the water part...this part is really challenging!!=)

Is really sempit...I think if i am fatter a bit, i dun have to go in ady lo...have to patah balik and go back...hahaa

And then down we went into the water...there are some high part and some low part..high and low as in the ceiling or roof of the cave or top of the cave or watever is it...

And here is the part which me and my frens all had a hard time...scared and cold and tired and pain and hopeless and etc...Well as i said earlier, Mel drove here...so she kept the car key in the pocket...

But then...something terrible happened...while going thru this really low ceiling area where we need to crawl in the water and the water was really strong...The key which was in Mel's pocket got washed away...to dunno where...

Luckily Mel noticed it fast and we can noe exactly which part to find....So we start searching together...hoping that we can find it...however after finding for the 3rd times, i ady start to lost hope...is like, the water is so strong and the base is so sandy and stoney and we need to crawl and search the base with our hands...so both knees and palms were so painful....

water so cold, place so dark, not familiar with the place also, base not smooth(so always got unbalanced)\

the tourist guide hu guided us was really nice and helpful...when we already gave up hope, he still havent gave up and he still help us to search for the keys...he was really determined to get the keys for us...

But then with us in the tour, there is another group...so we kenot keep them waiting in the cold water while we are searching for the keys rite?so the abang took them out first then oni came back and help us find somemore...

after finding for some time, still kenot find it, we all get out of the cave...this time already lost hope...really no hope already...all soo sad and start thinking of ways to go back and how to tell the rental person since we kept all our hps and wallet and evrything in the car, we couldn't get to contact the rental person at all to ask for spare keys...

After sitting around for awhile, the abang decided to go in the cave and find again..this time he bring along his fren and 3guys from our group went oso...

Now finally the KEYS were found and the feeling is really hard to describe!!!
We were overjoyed and dunno how to thank the abang,....wanted to treat him something nice to eat, but then the restaurant there left mee goreng oni..so we bought him that oni coz have no other choices anymore

So that's how it ended...we found the keys and can finally open d car door dy!!

On the way back, we camwhore abit

No more papers for the week!!yday sat for Maths, today Business...now im left with two more papers...4 down and 2 more to goo!!!hooray!!hopefully it will end faster...really in Holiday mood already!!

Hmm looks like i shall not draft in exam anymore..for all the papers i draft, i couldn't fnsh it, but for all the papers i didn't draft, i have exactly enough time for it...For example, maths and business i fnsh both papers before the time ends...really happy!!

Well at least maths paper and BM is not as hard as Eng and Moral....

But then, i noticed something, for these 4 consequtive days, i will surely need BOM halfway answering the paper...(well oni certain ppl will understand the meaning of BOM)
p/s: learned from Lee Mei Yan!!=)

But today's BM paper is really like the SPM BM paper...u kenot even stop writing...once stop, u can nvr fnsh it!!and for the first time i used all the pages in the answer booklet...and that's a lot...my hand was aching so badly...

Venue: SUPER DUPER COLD STORAGE ROOM(CHANCELLOR HALL)with temperature of -30 degree celcius(ok im just exxagerating) =)

Before the reaching the place, got wet in the rain abit....so when enter chancellor hall, is worst...even colder!!haih(the i so DISLIKE coldness)

The paper was actually quite easy, but i think i screw up a little...din manage to fnsh my essay on time which i tot i can fnsh it but turned out to be the opposite in the end...

Section A QUITE TOUGH, spent quite long on that part and Section B so so oni....

In short, definitely not gonna do well for this paper!!however i will try my best for the other papers!!

SO SUPER BUSY these days with meetings after meetings for the talent search grand finale nite!!these are all the hard works we(the cnp dept) put in

really hard work, but then in the end have to take out some of the lightings for certain alphabeths oso coz it wouldn't light up!!is so troublesome using light bulbs as decorations...have to keep adjusting and changing to get all bulb light up!!and once a wire is broken, the whole thing won't light up!!This job is really killing me!!!

No VICTORY, Gained COURAGE

My Talent Search audition finally ended!!Such a great relieve...

Woke up so early in the morning to help out on stage there coz i am one of the committee also other than being the participant...

Waited till about 8.45am and still the first 3 participants who are suppose to sing first still haven't arrive and i am the 4th participant...The judges are already there waiting..Suddenly xiao ci came up to me and say:

Cheryl u go first la...the judges are already over there waiting and the first 3 participants haven't arrive yet

i was like....
erm im soo not prepared yet...so early in the morning, my voice is not broken yet oso

Summore my frens haven't arrive yet...i dare not sing...i dun have the courage..im just too afraid to go on...However i got no choice but to perform first...Couldn't make the judges wait so long rite?so i just went up and sing but then it was really terrible coz im really not prepare at all...

the room was soo empty and when i speak on the mic, my voice was so loud!!i was so scared and i dare not even project my voice fully!!So i did not really bring out my voice completely

Suddenly i saw my friends!!!the arrive just on time to watch me sing..that time i was on stage already...luckily my accompaniment got a bit prob so my time can be delayed a bit...Just enough time for my frens to arrive...LOL =)

I suddenly have more courage to carry on...i started singing with more zest on the second part of my song...I was really happy to see them!!really grateful that they came and support me

Moral Group 29

I am the leader for moral group 29 and i was quite scared at first to be d leader as I am the only girl in my group and the rest of the group members are guys. And i dun even noe any of them at first except for Kien Yang(my mortal)which i have been watching over him throughout the MAS week...hehe

However now I am really happy to be in this group...My group consist of kind gentlements from different different courses and they are all very cooperative and also hardworking!We really work together as a team to fnsh up our really really frustrating and troublesome Moral Reflections.

There are so many cats here in UTP and the amount is like increasing day by day!!
haih cats...eventhough is cute and adorable but i still dun like it...I just don't noe why.. it is not a very favourable pet to me if it is compared with other pets...

Im so sorry to those cat-lovers but i just wish to continue establishing an "ANTI CATS Club" which was previously held in CBN last time=)

I called my mum yday, then i told her bout the singing competition...She suddenly suggested

(Owh is my mum's Bday oso btw) HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY!!!

I was like, owh yeah...how come i have never tot of that song before??i kept thinking on so many songs which im not really familiar wif, but i hv nvr tot that there is a song i really really like and is more familiar with...

Talent Search!!

Talent Search is back with the intention of searching for talented students in UTP!!this is the second time it will be held in UTP and everybody is free to take part but of course with a registration fee!!

Speaking about talent, i knew i have quite a few talents but singing??hmm definitely not me...Cheryl Khor don't sing....She might be active in sports, eating, sleeping but definitely not singing!!However she made a sudden decision today!!She decided to take part in the talent search competition which is Singing competition!! Owh no... what has happened?Disaster might occur, we might experience strong tornado here in UTP with the heaviest rain ever...

What makes me made this sudden decision?well simply because i need to sell off my entry tickets for the finals of this Talent Search...It is a must for me to sell off 10 tix and my frens said they would buy the tix from me if im singing!!Hence, i decided to sing and sacrifice my 10bucks for the registration fee..

Well i don't really noe how to sing any song actually...However i decided to sing Bubbly by COLBIE CAILLAT!!
I dont really noe how to sing this song oso actually, therefore im learning very hard now and my audition is like this friday!!

I didn't really aim to get into the finals, but if i got into the finals, it will be better of course coz i will get the chance to grab the grand prize which i know i wont...hahaha coz there are many great singers here in UTP and me??a person hu don't really sing...hmm i dun see any hope in me...However, since i have already signed up, i will try my best to sing the best i can!!

So all my beloved frens in UTP!!!please do come and support me yea!!Can get the tickets from me...

Rotaract Installation

Yday was the rotaract installation for year 2008. At first I never thought of going because have to pay for it but since XC is performing break dance, So I decided to go after She persuaded me for so long. Anyway it is only 38 bucks but then I'm really very broke ady this month. Over my budget of more than 100 bucks any.

However I never regret going because it was really fun.

We went to the Ipoh country club I guess if I'm not mistaken.

Skipped class

Me and my frens skipped moral class on Wed and went to pasar malam...

In UTP bus on the way to Tmn Maju pasar malam...

we wanted to shop for food and i was there to help daphnee buy bicycle as she was sick that day!!!soo we planned to buy bicycle from tmn maju pasar malam and cycle back to UTP but then the bikes there are kinda expensive and those ppl like duwan to do business oni...so we left and we decided to take the bus to Tronoh and buy it from there...

In these two pics...really weird...The guy at the back of pey si and Mel soo busybody....keep sticking his head in the middle in between them as if wanna be in the photo oso...

But then in the end they didn't buy the bikes oso coz is too expensive and somemore we need to rush back coz 1 of our frens in the moral class said that pey si's name was called up and she was not that...soo have to hurry back as the lecturer wants to see her after class...

So we rushed back....

Weather

Hmm...the weather nowadays is getting more and more wierd...I just dunno why but is kinda creepy at times...

In the morning/afternoon it will be extremely hot till ur skin can be barbequed....So for those hu haven't seen me for a while, i will be darker by now...so dun get surprise if u see a black girl which looks like me next time...coz maybe it is me...

and in the evening it will be super windy and after that rains heavily!!Speaking on wind, haih the strong wind in UTP just crashed my newly bought UV Protection umbrella from S&J which costs me RM12.90...sooo Sad!!!then previously, i bought and umbrella from Petaling street too...but is is also useless as the sun can still penetrate through...what's the use of using that umbrella??i will still get burnt!!

And at night, it will either be tooo cold or too stuffy....

It is no wonder i always sick in UTP!!haha or maybe i just don't know how to take care of myself...

The Bunch of CARING frens i have in UTP

I was sick for the previous week...

got

1. sorethroat

2. headache

3. fever
4. flu

5. cough

6. diarrhoea

7. feeling nausea

at first i thought rest for awhile then ok ady but then in the end i still have to go to the clinic which is like miles away....luckily my fren(venice) lend me her bicycle...soo kind of her....

the doctor was like asking me why so late only i come and see him...hahaha i was speechless then

the pharmacist got a shocked for the number of medication she need to give me...haha

then have to suffer few days eating those tablets which is so yucky and i didn't even bother fnshing the antibiotic!!now still lying in my hostel room's drawer..hehe

anyway that is not what i would like to elaborate on here...

What most important is that I would like to sincerely thank my frens for being so caring and patient while i was sick...they really treat me really nice and i am very touched by their kindness...

1. Mellissa(Mel)

offered me honey and lozenges when i have sorethroat!!gave me diarhoea tablets too...

2. Shu Wei

tapau kuey tiaw soup(from Ipoh) for me when im sick...

3. Venice(Siew Kwan)

lend me her bicycle to cycle to clinic, offered me honey(special 1) too

Offered me her herbal tea and always ask me to rest...very caring

Asked her mom to tapau porridge for me while i was sick and even gave good advice on how to take care of myself!!nice girl!!

Gave me flu tablets while im having flu!!super sleepy...slept off right away after taking it=)

Always asking me to rest and take care...

Offered me instant porridge!!haha very yummy!!!
