Yday i had a very exciting trip with my friends to the Tempurung Cave..there were 8 of us who went there : me, daphnee, mei foong, mel, siew kwan,mark, alex, and Lolo
Mel drove all the way to Gua Tempurung and we reached there around 10++ bought tix for the Top of the World & Short River Adventure package which costs RM11..
Suppose to bring torch light along, but then mine and mel's torch light were dumped in the bag and were brought back to our house respectively already...that's y no torch light to use so have to buy from there...and they sell it super expensive
1 torch = RM 12
we bought 2 so is RM 24 (Mark, LoLo and alex u guys owe me RM3 each)
that's really cut throat...the torch light is not even that bright...really wasting money
Anyway that's before entering the cave...Now let the story begin...
Firstly we entered the cave and walked up dunno how many thousand staircase
Long long way up!!!Phew...tiring(long time no exercise)
then look around and saw all those natural formations on the wall...got all kinds of funny funny looking shapes
It is batman eyes according to the tour guide..But no matter in whichever angle i see, it doesn't look like batman eyes at all...
after all those tiring climbing, we finally came to this scary sliding marble which was the part daphnee really really scared...She is afraid of height..so dare not get down...Kinda steep but is fun though
took quite some time there coz not many ppl dare to slide down...
after that part, we need to enter this tiny little hole to go underground and walk in the water part...this part is really challenging!!=)
Is really sempit...I think if i am fatter a bit, i dun have to go in ady lo...have to patah balik and go back...hahaa
And then down we went into the water...there are some high part and some low part..high and low as in the ceiling or roof of the cave or top of the cave or watever is it...
And here is the part which me and my frens all had a hard time...scared and cold and tired and pain and hopeless and etc...Well as i said earlier, Mel drove here...so she kept the car key in the pocket...
But then...something terrible happened...while going thru this really low ceiling area where we need to crawl in the water and the water was really strong...The key which was in Mel's pocket got washed away...to dunno where...
Luckily Mel noticed it fast and we can noe exactly which part to find....So we start searching together...hoping that we can find it...however after finding for the 3rd times, i ady start to lost hope...is like, the water is so strong and the base is so sandy and stoney and we need to crawl and search the base with our hands...so both knees and palms were so painful....
water so cold, place so dark, not familiar with the place also, base not smooth(so always got unbalanced)\
the tourist guide hu guided us was really nice and helpful...when we already gave up hope, he still havent gave up and he still help us to search for the keys...he was really determined to get the keys for us...
But then with us in the tour, there is another group...so we kenot keep them waiting in the cold water while we are searching for the keys rite?so the abang took them out first then oni came back and help us find somemore...
after finding for some time, still kenot find it, we all get out of the cave...this time already lost hope...really no hope already...all soo sad and start thinking of ways to go back and how to tell the rental person since we kept all our hps and wallet and evrything in the car, we couldn't get to contact the rental person at all to ask for spare keys...
After sitting around for awhile, the abang decided to go in the cave and find again..this time he bring along his fren and 3guys from our group went oso...
Now finally the KEYS were found and the feeling is really hard to describe!!!
We were overjoyed and dunno how to thank the abang,....wanted to treat him something nice to eat, but then the restaurant there left mee goreng oni..so we bought him that oni coz have no other choices anymore
So that's how it ended...we found the keys and can finally open d car door dy!!
On the way back, we camwhore abit
saw some cows on the way back too=)
